In Micah 6:8, we hear that God desires for believers “to do justice and to love goodness and to walk modestly with your God.” We are at a point in history where people want to participate in making the Kingdom of God known on earth but hesitate because they don’t necessarily know what that means. This study will help you dig in and better understand that justice matters to God and because it matters to God, it needs to matter to us. We will look at scripture, hear stories of those who have committed their lives to doing justice, and imagine ways that we can respond to God by acting justly in the places where we live. Join Rev. Melissa Kime-Hall as we explore what scripture says about justice and how God is calling us to respond. If participants want a hard copy of the study book, it can be purchased at ifgathering.com or accessed through the IF:Gathering app or at https://www.ifgathering.com/ifequip/studies/arise/.
